WHERE I AM INVESTING INTO

The company BRYO S.p.A. asks for a minimum financing of € 180.000, (with a maximum of € 260.000) to carry out an energy project at the Museo Checco Costa dell'Autodromo di Imola (BO).

The existing system has a total power of 297,68 kWp. Through revamping the total power will be the same, but the production will increase since the new technology is more efficient than the last one.

In detail the existing modules are 240 Wp while the new modules have a power equal to 405 Wp. The annual energy production is estimated around 348,106 MWh/year. Through the revamping there will be enough space on the cover to install an upgrade of the total power equal to 74,64 kWp, using the panels that will be removed downstream of the revamping, in an optical of circular economy. The annual production of this enhanced section will be approximately 80,75 MWh/year.

Overall the total production of Revamping and Repowering is of 428,856 MWh/year.

The plant to date yields all the energy produced to the grid, but it is evaluating an valorization through a SEU (Efficiency System of Utenza) which previews a self-consumption of approximately 45% of the energy produced by the sum of the two plants (about 500 MWh).

With the energy produced by the photovoltaic system it is possible to cover part of the energy requirement, allowing Formula Imola to become progressively autonomous from the electricity grid. In this way Formula Imola could use green energy. Finally, but not less important, the intervention would result in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere.
