Dolomiti Energia Holding proposes the subscription of a loan (minimum of €100,000 and maximum of €500,000) aimed at co-financing the repowering of the wind farm in Greci (Avellino), managed by IVPC Power 8.
The initiative involves the upgrade of the existing plant from 11.1 MWp and the construction of a new one of 27 MWp, with a significant reduction in the number of wind turbines (from 13 to 6). The new plant will be able to produce 86.4 GWh/year, avoiding the emission of approximately 22,200 tons of CO₂ and covering the energy needs of 32,000 families.
REPOWERING WIND FARM IN GRECI (AVELLINO) BY IVPC POWER 8
IVPC Power 8, the promoting company of the repowering project for the wind farm in Greci (Avellino), is part of the Dolomiti Energia Group, which holds 75% of it through a wholly-owned subsidiary (Dolomiti Energia Rinnovabili)
The total investment planned for the operation amounts to 35.7 million euros, with the commissioning of the plant expected in October 2026.
The project includes a complete repowering intervention, which consists of the refurbishment of the current plant and the construction of a new wind farm, enhanced by the use of the most modern technologies available. The total power will increase from the current 11.1 MWp to 27 MWp, allowing not only a significant increase in energy production but also a significant reduction in environmental impact: the number of wind turbines will be reduced from 13 to 6, with a better landscape integration and greater efficiency for each installed machine.
The location of the intervention on the wind farm is in Greci in the Province of Avellino.
